About Lake Sinclair

Lake Sinclair is a 15,330-acre reservoir in Georgia, completed in 1953, managed by Georgia Power (FERC-licensed). Live pool elevation comes from NOAA's National Water Prediction Service (station sncg1). Public launches include Rocky Creek Park Boat Ramp, Lake Sinclair Recreation Area Boat Ramp, and Cosby's Landing Boat Ramp. The Oconee Sailing & Yacht Club is the active sailing club on the water.
