About Lake Michigan

Lake Michigan is one of the Laurentian Great Lakes, a 14,338,560-acre body of fresh water bordered by Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Live water level comes from NOAA Tides & Currents station 9087044. The main public launch is Diversey Harbor Boat Launch at 2601 N Cannon Dr, Chicago IL 60614. Active sailing clubs include Chicago Yacht Club, Columbia Yacht Club, and Jackson Park Yacht Club.
