About Weiss Lake

Weiss Lake is a 30,200-acre reservoir in Alabama, completed in 1961, managed by Alabama Power / AL WFF. Live pool elevation comes from NOAA's National Water Prediction Service (station crea1). Public launches include Leesburg Landing, Mud Creek Boat Ramp, and Cedar Bluff Causeway Boat Ramp. The Rome Sailing Club is the active sailing club on the water.
