Watauga Lake is a 6,430-acre reservoir in Tennessee, completed in 1948, managed by Tennessee Valley Authority. Live pool elevation comes from NOAA's National Water Prediction Service (station WTGT1). Public launches include Rat Branch Boat Launch and Sink Mountain Boat Ramp. The Watauga Lake Sailing Club is the active sailing club on the water.
