About Smithville Lake
Smithville Lake is a 7,190-acre reservoir in Missouri, completed in 1977, managed by USACE Kansas City District. Live water-surface elevation comes from USGS gauge 06821140. The main public launch is Sailboat Cove (Clay County Parks) at 4404 Paradise Rd, Smithville, MO 64089. The Paradise Point Yacht Club is the active sailing club on the water.
