About Lewis Smith Lake
Lewis Smith Lake is a 21,200-acre reservoir in Alabama, completed in 1961, managed by Alabama Power. Live water-level readings are scraped from alabama-power on a regular schedule. The main public launch is Smith Lake Park Boat Ramp at 403 County Road 386, Cullman, AL 35057. The Smith Lake Civic Association is the active sailing club on the water.
