About Old Hickory Lake

Old Hickory Lake is a 22,500-acre reservoir in Tennessee, completed in 1954, managed by USACE Nashville District. Live pool elevation comes from the USACE Nashville District water-control feed. The main public launch is Harbor Island Yacht Club at 300 Harbor Drive, Old Hickory TN 37138. Active sailing clubs include Harbor Island Yacht Club, Cedar Creek Yacht Club, and Nashville Sailing Foundation.
