About Lake Mead

Lake Mead is a 158,500-acre reservoir in Nevada, completed in 1935, managed by National Park Service. Live pool elevation comes from USBR's RISE catalog. Public launches include Hemenway Harbor Launch Ramp, Callville Bay Launch Ramp, and Echo Bay Launch Ramp. Active sailing clubs include Nevada Yacht Club and Lake Mead Yacht Club.
