About Lake Mead

Lake Mead is a 158,500-acre reservoir in Nevada, completed in 1935, managed by National Park Service. Live pool elevation comes from USBR's RISE catalog. The main public launch is Lake Mead Marina Launch Ramp at 490 Horsepower Cove Rd, Boulder City NV 89005. Active sailing clubs include Nevada Yacht Club and Lake Mead Yacht Club.
