About Lake Townsend

Lake Townsend is a 1,542-acre reservoir in North Carolina, completed in 1969, managed by City of Greensboro Parks & Recreation. Lakebrief does not have a real-time water-level feed for this lake; the dashboard reports wind and weather only. The main public launch is Lake Townsend Marina at 6332 Lake Townsend Rd, Browns Summit NC 27214. The Lake Townsend Yacht Club is the active sailing club on the water.
