About Lake Oahe

Lake Oahe is a 370,000-acre reservoir in South Dakota, completed in 1962, managed by USACE Omaha District. Live pool elevation comes from the USACE NWDM District water-control feed. Public launches include Spring Creek Recreation Area Boat Ramp, West Whitlock Recreation Area Boat Ramp, and Indian Creek Recreation Area (Bridge City Marina) Boat Ramp.
