About Lake Hopatcong

Lake Hopatcong is a 2,685-acre natural lake in New Jersey, managed by NJ DEP. NJ DEP prohibits boating once sustained wind reaches 21.7 kt (25 mph). The main public launch is Hopatcong State Park Boat Launch at 260 Lakeside Blvd, Landing NJ 07850. Active sailing clubs include Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, Garden State Yacht Club, and Lake Forest Yacht Club.
