Heron Lake is a 5,900-acre reservoir in New Mexico, completed in 1971, managed by NM EMNRD State Parks Division. Live pool elevation comes from USBR's RISE catalog. Public launches include La Laja Boat Ramp and Island View Boat Ramp. Active sailing clubs include New Mexico Sailing Club and NM Hobie Fleet 48.
