Great Salt Lake is a 950,000-acre natural lake in Utah, managed by Utah State Parks. Live water-surface elevation comes from USGS gauge 10010000. Utah State Parks prohibits boating once sustained wind reaches 25 kt (29 mph). The main public launch is Great Salt Lake State Park & Marina Ramp. The Great Salt Lake Yacht Club is the active sailing club on the water.
