About Deep Creek Lake

Deep Creek Lake is a 3,628-acre reservoir in Maryland, completed in 1925, managed by Brookfield Renewable / Maryland DNR. Live water-level readings are scraped from Brookfield SafeWaters on a regular schedule. The main public launch is Deep Creek Lake State Park Boat Ramp at 898 State Park Rd, Swanton MD 21561. Active sailing clubs include Deep Creek Yacht Club and Deep Creek Sailing School.
