About Columbia Gorge

Columbia Gorge is a 20,600-acre reservoir in Oregon, completed in 1937, managed by USACE Portland District. Public launches include Hood River Event Site & The Hook, Bingen Marina / Sailboard Park, and Doug's Beach State Park. Active sailing clubs include Columbia Gorge Wind & Water Association (CGW2) and Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association (CGWA, est. 1987).
