About Chickamauga Lake
Chickamauga Lake is a 36,240-acre reservoir in Tennessee, completed in 1940, managed by Tennessee Valley Authority. Live pool elevation comes from NOAA's National Water Prediction Service (station CKDT1). The main public launch is Chester Frost Park Boat Ramp at 7872 Causeway Road, Hixson, TN 37343. The Privateer Yacht Club is the active sailing club on the water.
