Cherokee Lake is a 28,780-acre reservoir in Tennessee, completed in 1942, managed by Tennessee Valley Authority / TWRA. Live pool elevation comes from NOAA's National Water Prediction Service (station CRKT1). Public launches include Black Oak Marina, Panther Creek State Park Ramp, and German Creek Marina Ramp. The Cherokee Lake Sailing Club is the active sailing club on the water.
