Carlyle Lake is a 26,000-acre reservoir in Illinois, completed in 1967, managed by USACE St. Louis District. Live pool elevation comes from NOAA's National Water Prediction Service (station cayi2). Public launches include Dam West Day Use Boat Ramp, Eldon Hazlet SRA · Allen Branch Boat Ramp, and Coles Creek Day Use Boat Ramp. The Carlyle Sailing Association is the active sailing club on the water.
