About Barren River Lake

Barren River Lake is a 10,100-acre reservoir in Kentucky, completed in 1964, managed by USACE Louisville District. Live water-surface elevation comes from USGS gauge 03312900. The main public launch is Port Oliver Boat Ramp at Port Oliver Boat Ramp Road, Scottsville, KY 42164. The Port Oliver Yacht Club is the active sailing club on the water.
