About Lake Allatoona

Lake Allatoona is a 12,010-acre reservoir in Georgia, completed in 1949, managed by USACE Mobile District. Live water-surface elevation comes from USGS gauge 02393500. Public launches include Galt's Ferry Day-Use Area Boat Ramp, Victoria Day-Use Area Boat Ramp, and Cooper Branch No 2 Day-Use Area Boat Ramp. Active sailing clubs include Atlanta Yacht Club, South Winds Sailing Club, and Allatoona Yacht Club.
